create your very own Muddy Dog Challenge
If you can’t find a Muddy Dog Challenge location near you, or you fancy doing it in your own way in 2024, DIY Muddy Dog Challenge is for you! Take on your own muddy fun run, with friends and family, or just with your canine companion by your side to raise money for Battersea.
It’s £10 to register and you'll receive a Muddy Dog Challenge t-shirt, and a bandana for your dog. You’ll also receive a rosette and medal, to wear with pride, if you fundraise £50 or over!
All the money you raise will go to supporting all the dogs and cats at Battersea, and even those who may never come into our care. The easiest way to fundraise is by setting up an online fundraising page using JustGiving.
Make it your own
This is your own challenge, so you can do it any way you like. Plus, you can get as muddy as you want! See our ideas for DIY Muddy Dog Challenges...
Set up a simple obstacle course in your garden and see how quickly you can tackle it. You could weave around plant pots, hurdle over sticks and jump in a muddy paddling pool.
Find a muddy route in a local woods or forest, make sure you jump in as many puddles as you can.
Head out for as many muddy runs as you can over a week period, rather than just doing one.
Or just complete it in a way that suits you, as long as you have fun!

DIY Muddy dog challenge faqs
DIY Muddy Dog Challenge is an event where we ask participants to take on their own muddy fun run with their dog and fundraise to support the animals at Battersea.
You can complete DIY Muddy Dog Challenge whenever suits you, as many times as you like throughout 2024.
You can register using the online form.
It is £10 to register, however we also encourage you to fundraise while taking part. When you register, you will receive a Muddy Dog Challenge t-shirt and bandana for your dog. Once you have raised £50, we'll also send you a medal and rosette.
As part of the registration form, you will be able to order a t-shirt for yourself, and a bandana for your dog. If you require more than one of each, please email us at muddydog@battersea.org.uk
